The Official Teaser of an Upcoming Nepali Movie ‘Eklo-I’ Has Been Out on YouTube

The teaser of the film Eklo-1 set to release on Poush 17 (around the English New Year), has been officially unveiled. The one-minute-long teaser offers a glimpse into a mysterious story filled with tension and conflict among its characters. The movie appears to revolve around the struggle for power and wealth, serving as its central theme.

Blending elements of suspense and thriller, the teaser presents actor Pradeep Khadka in the role of a skilled and action-oriented character – though his full face is intentionally not revealed. Actress Benisha Hamal’s appearance hints at her portrayal of a queen-like figure. Kavita Nepali and British actor Jamie Bacon are seen playing the roles of British police officers. The teaser has effectively built anticipation and curiosity among viewers regarding the film’s storyline.

Written and directed by Pradeep Shahi, the film features an ensemble cast including Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Diya Pun, Dinesh DC, Suraj Singh Thakuri, Awan Raj Upreti, Trichu Rai, Krishna Bhakta Maharjan, Bikash Adhikari, Diggaj Khatri, Binod Subedi ‘Kshitiz,’ and Shreeshesh Shrestha, among others. The movie is produced by the NRN Group, with Pradeep Khadka himself also serving as one of the producers.

The film’s executive producer is Binod Subedi ‘Kshitiz,’ while Babu Shrestha handled the cinematography. It includes Rupesh Tamang’s editing, Rohit Shakya’s music composition, and Raju Tamang’s action direction. Earlier this year, “Eklo” was promoted at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where a dedicated stall was set up for its publicity. Since then, the film has gained notable international attention and buzz in the global market.
