‘Paran’ Hits Theaters | Won The Heart of Cinema Lovers | Filmy Updates

The emotional drama movie ‘Paran‘ began its theatrical journey from today, Friday. Released as a solo film across Nepal, it secured 64 nationwide shows. However, the movie faced challenges on its opening day – advance ticket bookings were lower than expected, and continuous rainfall affected the morning shows.

At the box office, Paran faces stiff competition from Jerry on Top, which has been performing strongly for the past two weeks. To sustain its presence in theaters, Paran will need strong word-of-mouth promotion. Judging from the reactions during Thursday evening’s premiere, there’s a high chance that positive reviews will help boost its performance.

The film’s story, dialogues, performances, and background music received widespread appreciation during the premiere. Many viewers were seen visibly emotional after the screening. Veteran actor Haribansha Acharya praised Paran as a heart-touching film. Singer Ram Krishna Dhakal and director Suyog Gurung also described it as an excellent family-oriented movie, urging audiences to watch it at least once.

Directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), Paran stars Nir Shah, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Anjana Baraily, Mahesh Tripathi, Prabin Khatiwada, Yaman Shrestha, and Buddhi Tamang, among others. The film is produced by Shekhar Golchha of the renowned Golchha Group and Ranjit Acharya of Prisma Advertising.
