The second-phase poster of director Chandra Pant’s upcoming film Aa Bata Aama has been released. The two posters, made public on Wednesday, depict the emotional states of the film’s main characters and hint at the storyline. Both posters combine expressions of happiness and pain, set against the backdrop of a village and a foreign land – suggesting that the film revolves around themes of aspiration and compulsion.

The main cast featured in the posters includes Bipana Thapa, Pradeep Rawat, Pal Shah, Simran Pant, Sygres Pokharel, and Usha Upreti. Actor Pal Shah appears in two distinct looks, one with long hair and another with short hair, indicating that he might be playing a dual role in the film.

Centered on the emotional bond between parents and children, the movie also stars Bishal Pahadi, Ravindra Jha, Gajit Bishta, Hemraj Adhikari, Dilip Ukheda, and Rachana Gautam, among others. The screenplay has been written by director Pant himself, while Omkar Pant, Krishna Prasad Subedi, Dhruva Nyaupane, Prakash Kunwar, and Kshitij Dhungana serve as producers.

Produced under the banner of Arya Entertainment, the film features Navaraj Upreti as Director of Photography, with music by Koshish Kshetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam. Scheduled for release on Magh 16 (February 2025) to coincide with Sahid Diwas (Martyrs’ Day), the movie has already sold its distribution rights for Australia and New Zealand.
