‘Harsha’ Trailer Released: A Family Drama Depicting Post-Marriage Challenges
The trailer of the Nepali family drama Movie Harsha, directed by Ekta Paudel, was unveiled in the capital on Tuesday amid a special event. The 2-minute-51-second-long trailer portrays the emotional ups and downs that arise within a family after marriage.
A graduate of the New York Film Academy, Paudel has previously directed several short films. Harsha marks her debut in feature-length filmmaking.
The movie stars Khagendra Lamichhane, Barsha Raut, and Saimon Wadi in lead roles, alongside veteran actors Nir Shah, Santosh Pant, and Maotse Gurung.
The film’s cinematography is by Alok Shukla, and the music is composed by Basanta Sapkota. Harsha is set to release in theaters nationwide from Mangsir 12 (approximately late November).
Produced under the banners of Ashtalakshmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, the film explores themes of family bonds, emotional struggles, and responsibilities within a Nepali household.
