First‑Look Posters Released for Nepali Film ‘Jalaki ‘

The production team behind the forthcoming Nepali romance Jalaki has unveiled first-look posters featuring its lead actors, Dheeraj Magar and Upasana Singh Thakuri, in tender, romantic scenes.

About the Film

Directed by Ashok Thapamagar, Jalaki is centered on a complex love triangle. In addition to Dheeraj and Upasana, Sonam Topden plays a pivotal role, supported by a diverse ensemble cast including Shilpa Maske, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Astitva Bhatta Chan, Sangeeta Thapa Magar, Raju Regmi Magar, and Khadka Bahadur Pun (Khabpu).

Production & Shooting

Producers Om Gharti Magar, Veer Bahadur Lama, Chandra Bahadur Bhatta Chan, Betane Magar (Babita Rana), Man Bahadur Dhana Magar, and Susmita Budhathoki are behind the project. The team has already completed the first phase of filming. And now planning to begin shooting of second phase on September 21, 2025.

Music & Release Plan

Mahesh Baral and SD Yogi are composing the music for Jalaki, with Sarita Rai also contributing. The team will share details such as the release date and promotional events closer to the film’s launch.
