According to the film’s producer Saroj Neupane, the removal was not due to copyright or YouTube action but rather because of a technical issue. He clarified that due to miscommunication, an incorrect file of the song was uploaded to Budha Subba’s channel. Since the music and audio quality in the uploaded version were not as expected, the production team decided to remove it immediately.
Neupane, currently in Mumbai, explained: “I and director Suyog Gurung were both out of the country when this happened. Because of some miscommunication, the wrong version of the song was uploaded. That’s why we had to remove it. But don’t worry, we will be releasing the corrected version very soon.”
Director Suyog Gurung, who was in Kalimpong, India, for movie promotion, has already returned to Kathmandu to ensure the re-release goes smoothly.
